Reviews and Ratings
We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The hotel offered great accommodations with a lovely view and was conveniently located within walking distance to the main dock and restaurants. The room was decent with two double beds but felt a bit dated. The breakfast was satisfactory for our needs, and we really enjoyed the communal areas. On the downside, the soundproofing in the room could have been better, and we did notice some cleanliness issues.
If you're looking for a decent place to stay before a cruise, Hotel Los Algarrobos fits the bill. The rooms are comfortable, though not extravagant, and the breakfast offers a satisfying start to the day. The location is quite convenient for exploring the port area, just a short walk away. However, it might feel basic if you're expecting luxury.
During my stay at Hotel Los Algarrobos, I found it adequate for a couple of days, especially before my cruise. The room was a decent size with air conditioning, and the rooftop offered a nice view of the water in the distance. However, I wouldn't call it luxurious or overly spacious, but it definitely did the job. The breakfast was pretty good, and the location allowed for easy access to the waterfront and local activities.
I recently stayed at this hotel during a group tour of the Galapagos, and I have to say, it was the best of the three we visited. Our room had a nice view of the water, and I really enjoyed the open-air spaces, including the exercise area and game room. Breakfast was decent, offering a variety of items, and the hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to the main dock and restaurants. The only downsides were a bit of noise and less privacy as we were on a busy street, but overall, it was a wonderful experience.
